1881 Census married head at 106 Church St., Stoke Newington, age 36, window blind and bedstead manufacturer employing 70 men. 1901 Census at Nailsworth, Gloucester, age 56, manufacturers agent [Henry John Tylor married Emma Gilkes in the Gloucester registration district in June quarter 1870 (GRO ref Volume 6a page 559). Emma was the daughter of Bedford Gilkes and Eliza (b.c. 1807, Ireland, surname unknown). Bedford was born April 4th 1805 in Devizes, Wiltshire son of Benjamin Gilbert Gilkes and Marian Bedford; he died age 51 and is buried in Cork, Ireland in 1856. Benjamin Gilbert was born circa 1786 in Devizes and died January 16th 1860 at Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. As far as I know Benjamin and Marian only had two children. On July 19th 1828 Benjamin Gilbert Gilkes married Ann Pegler at Avening, Gloucestershire; Benjamin was at that time a widower.]
